It’s not just about a healthy mouth, it’s about a healthy life!
When I retired about three years ago, dental insurance mandated that I had to leave the dentist that I had been with for a few years Doctor Cho's practice accepted my retirement insurance and that's how I landed here and from the very first visit I thought this makes me feel so comfortable just being in this room. It just seemed like a natural fit. From the moment I walked in the door Doctor Cho's entire team made me feel comfortable the first time I came to Doctor Cho and she did the initial assessment of my dental health she found that I had a couple of failed root canals ultimately there were three in that situation. So, I we opted to put in dental implants. Doctor Cho is very clear and thorough about what she explained, how she explains what the process is going to entail, by use of a model that showed me how the post would go into the bone after it was built up with bone grafting tissue, and that would heal and then the post was inserted it feels like a natural tooth. There's no feeling that you have something false or wobbly. I can also say that there was absolutely no pain involved with the entire process. I think Doctor Cho's practice is unique in that, number one you arrive in a beautifully aesthetically pleasing office. It's a very calming office. It just gives you a feeling of specialization that there are certain places for certain procedures. It's all very well thought out, very well prepared for. They knew exactly what they were going to do before I got here. Based on the prior visit and their planning. I believe Doctor Cho's number one goal in dealing with every patient is to make sure that they have a healthy mouth. The aesthetics are important but she starts with overall health first. I'm very happy with my smile.
Dr. Cho helped me smile again.
I wasn't experiencing any type of symptoms as for pain but it was more of, I wanted a smile makeover. I really was not happy with the smile that I had with what I presented when I was smiling when I was laughing and I was very self-conscious of it. So, when I had the opportunity financially, I decided to make the decision from the very beginning from the person who greets you at the door to the explanation of everything that's going to be done, the genuineness of Doctor Cho really comes through. I can't emphasize so much how comfortable I felt afterwards. It makes a huge difference to know that they truly care about your comfort while you're going through this. I would not go anywhere else. I can't I can't recommend this place highly enough. I when I decided to do this in 2016, I was coming up to my 40th high school reunion, and I was doing the planning on that and it was at that point yes, the vanity what am I going to look like but then again once I saw this then I realized that I do need to take care of this. I smiled that whole evening, that whole evening of the party I smiled so much I couldn't stop smiling. The joy has seen my friends that I had not seen in 40 years but also knowing that I could smile and that I wasn't embarrassed that I didn't want to hold back. I really wanted to show off my teeth because I was proud and I was very, very, happy that I really had the opportunity to meet Doctor Cho and her staff and to know that in a sense there's a miracle worker out there oh yeah, yeah, she's been blessed with a gift to make people smile, help them smile again for the very first time I had the complete set of teeth that I should have had from the very beginning. She gave me the smile; I’ve always, always, wanted it's a huge relief. It's knowing that what I'm feeling I can actually show now and not be afraid of my smile or and be embarrassed about my smile.
In house technology made getting my dental implant an easy process
Initially I started this process by unfortunately cracking my tooth I had a root canal done and a crown placed. After that I waited about five years and I started having more pain. So I went back for a revision of my root canal and the doctor at that point said that my tooth was not going to be able to be saved because there was a leak so he recommended that I extract my tooth but due to my experience I just waited about 10 years and then I finally met Doctor Cho I look at her reviews and I came to check it out. The team from the moment we cross the door they just make you feel very welcome they're very polite. The first time that I came they offer me tea water anything they make you feel very comfortable they made me feel so welcomed so at ease. She you know showed me what the process would be would be like answered all my questions. I had a lot of questions and she just made it so simple so easy that I actually wanted to come in I thought it was going to take much longer than it did it was really quick and I didn't feel any pain that prepped me put the screw in and then we had to wait a couple months until the bone would attach this screw. They check to see how the bone was attached it was good they checked the screw they took an implant of what my crown is going to look like and then I came on a last time to get the crown placed in. No pain nothing, Doctor Cho has equipment here to make her own crowns. So it was pretty fast it was so convenient I didn't have to go from Doctor to doctor and then back and forth so that made it even more convenient it's, it's, a seamless process I’ve had past experiences where I’ve had a crown put in and then it's so uncomfortable that I have to go several times back just so that it can be shaved down or plays better this time she makes sure that my crown was completely fit in it was comfortable of course she said if you need to come back and adjust it a little bit we can do that but I didn't have I didn't have to do that she's so precise in her work that it was it feels like heaven, I never thought lost a tooth really she has all the equipment here to get the work done, instead of referring me to somebody else and coming back and forth. So that was like for me was a game-changer. That was another reason why I decided to from the first time go ahead and do it she's been so amazing that even when I asked her to record my implant being placed in, she grabbed one of her girls and said yeah, I'm just recorded. She she just makes, makes, you feel amazing I'm telling you I'm making more appointments just for a cleaning because I want to come in. Not because I need them.
I’m confident Dr. Cho was the right choice for my smile makeover.
I always wanted to have that really great white smile with good-looking teeth. As I got older, I felt like it was a bit of a negative. So, I decided to have a full mouth cosmetic restoration and I'm very, very, happy that I did. All the teeth about five years ago and it was done over a two-day period. I saw the ads and I always said one day one day, I'm going to go in and see her. now there are lots of choices but there was something about her ads and said it was professional just what I wanted. I told her I did not want sparkling white teeth, I said I'm 67, I said I want a great look but I want it to be natural. So, we didn't go with the whitest of whites. The professionalism, state-of-the-art equipment somebody who just knows what they're doing professional. That's what I wanted money was not as important as having the right person do it and not mess it up and I was confident after meeting her that she was the right person to do it. If you want the results, this is where you go for the results. Everybody is right up to date. They can handle the job they know what they're doing and they're pleasant. It's just a joy to come in here. They have taught me the proper way to take care of my teeth, to make that smile and the mouth so good and the health so good that it improves their life and it doesn't prove your life. They correct bites. You've got a great looking mouth. It's now healthy life's good.
I was terrified of dental implants but Dr. Cho put me at ease.
Seventy-six years of life had led to some of my earlier dental crowns to wear away and so one of the crowns was replaced by Doctor Cho and then because that that tooth was so you know it had so many procedures done on it, there wasn't enough left really to secure the, the, crown properly and it, it, did come off and so that led to an implant. I was terrified to have an implant because I had heard that people get terrible infections or there's other complications involved and with gentle persuasion, she convinced me that the implant was the best way to go and I am so glad I did and once I started the process, I could see that it was done carefully and all the protocol was followed. By then my anxiety was gone I just wanted it to hurry up and you know the but it takes time for that bone graft to take, take, hold and for everything to be secured. It feels exactly like a real tooth then it's functioning perfectly from the minute I walked out of the office that day, so I'm delighted. She speaks plainly and clearly and answers any questions and calmed any fears that I’ve had at any procedure that I’ve had done in the office and I do appreciate that. From the first minute I ever walked into this office, I, I, noticed right away that there was a, an, effort by everyone here to create an atmosphere that was number one very welcoming very hospitable, that is a place where you're cared for. You're treated like an individual your time has taken to help them understand exactly how you feel about being cared for in a dental office. They listen to whatever fears you might have and are always ready to explain more, more, completely. So, I would absolutely recommend and Doctor Cho to my friends or to anyone that's looking for a dentist.
Gum Disease was affecting my overall health, then my husband and I heard about LANAP
My husband's I decided with Doctor Cho’s recommendation to go ahead with the LANAP surgery that would be the best for me. She totally explained what was going to happen that the laser was going to go in and get rid of any bone spurs which I had an infection that would it would alleviate and kill all the infection and underneath that no one could see and so to be all be gone and so I would my body would be able to heal after that and regrow the bone that was starting to deteriorate. I have to say I never knew I had a tooth problem because nothing ever hurt but my health was bad. I have been working on my health for the last 20 years, trying to figure out doctors can't figure out you know why my immune system was so low and, and, I think that my teeth had a huge impact on that my anxiety level was a 10. The fear was overwhelming and so she told them you know course is very calming told me not to worry that you know they're going to give me shots that you know I won't feel anything and the minute she said shot. I was almost out the door and they waited awhile they waited a couple hours to see if I could calm down and you know she does give you some things to calm you down. So, I had to go home and then she called in she has an anaesthesiologist who was a very kind man just seriously professional nose always doing made me feel confident he's because I’ve had anaesthesia before was having children and I felt them cut me because they didn't do it right. The anaesthesiologist told me you never have to worry about any kind of pain because I don't know you hurt before you do and that just calmed me down because I’ve had the experience of they're not giving me enough aesthetic. He put me out the next thing I knew I woke up and he goes what's your name what do you doing and you know so it was a it was very fast. It's a 5-hour surgery and it was only three hours. People who are afraid go see Doctor Cho because she caters to that you know and it's important and then the people that work for her the staff are like they are sincerely kind they're not faking it it's a place where you know you're going to come out looking better and feeling better and knowing that a job well done and that's what you go for your job well done.
